CELEBRATE SHOW LOW’S 62nd ANNIVERSARY WITH the 3^rd ANNUAL BBQ THROWDOWN hosted by C & M Events, LLC., a Music Brews & BBQ Championship. Enjoy a day of family fun in the cool pines of Show Low with activities, entertainment, & delicious barbecue! Our venue is one of the most pristine located right up in the White Mountains, where the daytime temps this time of year can be in the low 70’s by day with the evenings in the 40’s. This is a celebration for Show Low’s 62nd anniversary on Saturday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The day-long anniversary party is a KCBS sanctioned State BBQ Championship as seen on many of the local TV networks like BBQ Pitmasters on TLC or the Food & Cooking channel. The event will feature additional kids’ activities, an arm wrestling tournament, food vendors, and live music. This BBQ Throwdown will feature a barbecue contest between over 25 MASTER BBQ competitors who are vying for cash prizes. Come help decide who wins the People’s Choice Title! The People’s Choice tastings will begin at 1:30 pm and continue until to 4:30 p.m. or when we run out of food, tickets are $2 per ticket and that gets you a 2 oz. sample of the best teams around “Low & Slow BBQ”. There will be many vendors competing in the People’s Choice competition! In Addition we will offer a KCBS Sanctioned CBJ (certified bbq judges) class which anyone is welcome to take, it will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the event venue. Persons wishing to take the class must be pre-registered and paid by April 24^th, 2015 so we have all of our supplies and food needed.
