Prizes

First prize – $500, second prize – $150, third prize – $50.

Ten honorable mentions are awarded. Prizewinners and all honorable mentions will be published in the Voices Israel 2015 Poetry Anthology.

Submission Guidelines

Poems should be unpublished.

Entries may deal with any topic.

  – Focus need not be Jewish or Israeli

  – Challenging, humorous and/or eccentric poetry is welcome but              typographical tricks are discouraged.

Maximum length is 40 lines, including stanza breaks but not including title.

Poems are judged without the poets’ names.

Submission period:  Entries must be received no earlier than June 15th, 2014, and no later than September 15th, 2014.

Entry Fees

Cost for Voices Israel members:

US$5.00 (NIS 20) for one poem,

$10 (NIS 40) for 3 poems,

$15 (NIS 60) for 6 poems.

Cost for non members:

US$6.00 (NIS 24) for one poem,

$12 (NIS 48) for 3 poems,

$18 (NIS 69) for 6 poems.
