The Missoula YMCA Riverbank Run, one of the region’s more prominent foot races, returns for its 42nd year of competition Saturday, May 10, 2014, along with its new title sponsor DirecTV. The popular event still features the following races: 10 kilometer, 5k, one-mile fun run and the one-of-a-kind Trifecta, whereby runners compete in all three distances for a combined time. The YMCA is currently offering early bird pricing and on-line registration. Go to ymcamissoula.org to sign-up as well as check for other race details. The race, which begins at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Higgins and Broadway downtown, has separate pricing for youth ($15), adults ($23), family ($61) and Trifecta ($35) competitors. Prices jump on March 1 and again on May 1 for late registration.
