The Schuler School of Fine Arts is proud to present her 5th Annual “From Fur to Feathers” competition and exhibition. Entry is open to the public. This is a regional competition meaning that work must be hand delivered; we do not accept deliveries. The subject of the work must feature a non-human animal including any original representational, two dimensional work in oil, pastel, acrylic, water-color, ink, pencil, or scratch board, and wall–mounted relief or sculpture in the round under 40 lbs; No photog-raphy, prints, or digital art will be accepted. Framed dimensions for each entry must not exceed 28 x 34 inches. Work must not infringe on any copyright. The deadline for entries is Monday, March 17, 2014. Entries may be submitted in the form of JPEG images, between 1 and 3 MB, either mailed to the Schuler School of Fine Arts, 7 E. Lafayette Ave., Baltimore, MD 21202, or emailed to [email protected]. The fee to enter is $25 for one entry; $5 for each additional entry up to 3 total. Artist will receive notices of acceptance via email on March 20. Accepted work must be hand delivered by March 22. Our independent judge this year will be Jennifer Heyd Wharton, accomplished artist and Co-owner of the prestigious Troika Gallery in Easton, MD. Good Luck

The opening of the Exhibition will be 2-5:30pm on Saturday, March 29th with a special awards announcement from our Judge, Jennifer Heyd Wharton. There is a second reception on Sunday, March 30. The show will be open Monday through Friday, March 31- April 4, 9am-4pm, and Also Saturday and Sunday, April 5th and 6th 2-5:30.
