KCBS-sanctioned Professional BBQ Competition held at Jimmy’s Roadhouse in Newaygo, Michigan August 8 – 10, 2014. We are looking for professional teams who would like to compete for a total purse of $7,500, following the rules of the Kansas City Barbecue Society. Additionally, we would welcome any Certified BBQ Judges to aid in judging our contest or serving as table captains for our event.
Teams can arrive beginning Friday, August 8 at noon, through Saturday, August 9th at 4:00pm. Competition turn in will be held on Sunday, August 10th following standard KCBS timing.
Entry fee of $240 is due no later than June 15, 2014. For more information, contact Andrea Brandt at [email protected].
Space is limited and primary consideration will be given to teams competing as KCBS-certified organizations. The Dam Good BBQ Championship, it's representatives and partners (including Jimmy's Roadhouse) are not liable for any injury or destruction of equipment that may occur at the event.

Teams may begin arriving no earlier than 12:00 noon on Friday, August 8 and must be arrived no later than 4:00pm on Saturday, August 9. Additionally, teams must vacate the premises no later than 8:00pm on Sunday, August 10.
