“Scapes 2018”: Art-Competition.net is proud to announce the Art Call “Scapes 2018”. There will be 7 Winners and 10 Honorable Mentions. This competition is open to all artists and photographers worldwide. The participant must be 18 years of age or older working in any still art medium: painting, drawing, collage, photography, digital art, fiber art. Total Awards in Cash and Art Marketing Prize Value: $8,125.
Theme and Selection:
The judges for this art call welcome artists and photographers whose works provide viewers with unique interpretations of environmental settings—either viewed or imagined. These artists’ visions may transport the viewer to a lovely landscape, cityscape, seascape, or mindscape that invites them to enter their realm of beauty, uniqueness, serenity, etc. However, works reflecting human impact against the land, seas, etc., always major concerns, are encouraged as well. The earth’s landscapes are places of thought, meditation, reflection, tranquility, and at times sorrow. The landscape artists’ creations are defined and weighted only by the depth at which their presentations enrich our heart and conscience. All representational, abstract, or surrealistic entries are welcome.
First Place: $500 in Cash and the artist is presented as a “Featured Artist” in the “InternationalArtistDirectory.com” that is marketed to over 26,100 art buyers = Value $1,500. The winner’s artwork will also be marketed in an email marketing campaign “Art Market NewsTM” and website http://artmarketnews.net with over 26,100 subscribers = Value $3,500. The artist and their work will be marketed through our social media-marketing network through LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tumblr, Tweeter, FaceBook, GooglePlus, Instagram, etc. Total first place prize value = $5,500*
Second Place: $400 in Cash and the artist will be featured as a “Notable Artist” in the “InternationalArtistDirectory.com” that is marketed to over 26,100 art buyers = Value $1,500. Total second place prize = Value $1,900*
Third Place: $300 in Cash*
Fourth Place: $200 in Cash*
Fifth Place: $100 in Cash*
Sixth Place: $75 in Cash*
Seventh Place: $50 in Cash*
*The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th place winner’s artwork will be featured in Art-Competition.net “Winners Showcase” with links to their websites.
Up to 10 Honorable Mentions – The artists and their artworks will be displayed in the “Honorable Mentions” Section of Art-Competition.net.
Submission Fee
Entry Fee: $20 for one entry and $10 for each additional image.
