The Build A Better Burger® Recipe Contest turns 28 this year, and to celebrate, Sutter Home is scouting the best burger recipes from around the country.

Think you have an All-Star burger? Submit your recipe for a chance to get called up to the majors to compete at a series of live semi-final cook-off events. Contestants will go head-to-head to determine who will be our champion at the National Finals and take home a $25,000 cash prize!

Whether your burger is a new twist on an old favorite or a completely new burger concept, you are in total control. Be sure to check out our past winning recipes for inspiration.

With more than 20 different wine varietals to choose from, there is a Sutter Home wine to suit any combination of flavors.

Disclaimer:

All burger recipes will be reviewed by a panel of experts to select the top four in each region. These Semi-Finalists will be invited to participate in a series of live cook-off tailgate events across the country that will culminate at the National Finals hosted at Sutter Home Winery in beautiful Napa Valley, California.

Burgers will be scored on Taste, Creativity, Ease of Preparation and Wine Pairing to determine who built the best burger. The Grand-Prize Winner will take home a $25,000 cash prize!
