Since its inception in 2002, this Father’s Day event is known to produce fast finish times courtesy of a flat USATF-certified course. Brendan’s Home Run 5k starts and finishes Olympic-style on a 400m track. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group, plus the fastest parent/child teams. Men’s record: Ryan McCalmon – 14:59 (2012) Women’s record: Karen Roa – 17:16 (2013)
