The World Equestrian Games: the biggest equestrian event in the world
In 2014, Normandy will organise the 7th edition of the FEI World Equestrian Games from August 23, to September 7. The confidence expressed by the international equestrian community was the result of a wonderful joint venture. On the initiative of the Lower Normandy Region, along with the State and the French Equestrian Federation, the professionals of the equine industry and all of the elected members of the local authorities unanimously wanted to host the biggest equestrian event in the world and promote Normandy’s excellence and the expertise abroad.
More than 60 nations,1000 riders and 1000 horses are expected to provide almost 500, 000 spectators with equestrian competitions of the highest level.
The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy are an excellent opportunity to promote the region and create unique initiatives involving all of Normandy’s economic, tourist, equestrian, sports and cultural players.
But above all, the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 are a wonderful popular celebration where everyone will be invited to participate. The adventure begins today…
