Michigan’s cycling race season kicks off the year on the forth Saturday in March with the Killer Gravel Road Race, the largest gravel road race in the USA- Like the classic it’s named after, Barry-Roubaix will test riders against rolling gravel roads (80%), pavement, one mile of rough two track, rocks, sand, mud, and possibly snow and ice, along with 2200 feet of climbing over its 36 mile loop. There is a racer cap of 3500 entries.
Roads are not closed to traffic, follow the rules of the road when racing or riding
