The World Egg Throwing Federation is the organising body for the World and National Championships
On the last Sunday in June each year contestants, the Worlds best and others aiming for glory, head to Swaton in Lincolnshire, England to take part in the 5 disciplines that are “egg throwing”. The two person Egg Throw and Catch, Russian Egg Roulette, Target Throwing, 11 person Egg Relay and Egg Trebuchet.
From its humble beginning in 2004 the event has grown to draw contestant from across the globe, Japan, USA, Germany, Holland, Ireland, South Africa. Each vying to prove they have the skill to be up there with the likes of Dutchmen Smink and Visser, Irishman Wild Willie O’Donovan or Englishman Big Jim Duckett. All legends in the egg throwing world and masters at their sport.
