The 2014 UnitedHealthcare Marathon will be held on Sunday October 12 in Newport, Rhode Island. Race weekend features the UnitedHealthcare Marathon and UnitedHealthcare Newport Half Marathon on Sunday and the UnitedHealthcare 5k on Saturday, October 11.
The UnitedHealthcare Marathon and UnitedHealthcare Half Marathon will start at 8:00 AM on Sunday at Easton’s Beach. The UnitedHealthcare 5k will start at 7:30 AM on Saturday at Brenton Point.
The USATF certified races take advantage of Newport and Middletown’s rich history and beautiful oceanside scenery, providing some of the most breathtaking runs in the country. TheUnitedHealthcare Marathon is honored to host the UnitedHealthcare Half Marathon, voted the best half marathon in the Northeast by Competitor magazine in 2011!
The UnitedHealthcare Marathon serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier.
