The 6th annual 5k Tractor Trot will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 9 am in Malta, IL.
The race proceeds will be donated to Girls on the Run of DeKalb County. Girls on the Run is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to “inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.” The program provides pre-adolescent girls with the necessary tools to embrace their individual strengths and successfully navigate life experiences by encouraging positive emotional, social, mental and physical development. The 5k Tractor Trot is a USATF certified and sanctioned course. Chip Timing will be provided by Real Timing. Tractor Trot T-shirts will be given to all pre-registered participates. Cash awards, raffle and post race party! $25 for pre-registered participants through June 4. $30 for race day registration. Walkers are always welcome!
