The Capitol Brewers invites you to compete in the 9th Annual Homebrewers Classic on
April 12th, 2014. The Competition is an AHA BJCP sanctioned event.
Must be over 21 to enter beer, cider or mead. The entrant must personally brew all entries. Judges cannot judge a category they have entered.
Home brewers may enter one entry per sub category. Judging will be for all 28 BJCP beer styles, ciders and meads. A complete entry form must accompany each entry. Three 10oz to 16oz bottles per entry and each entry must be free of any identifying marks and labels. No “swing” type or Grolsch type bottles. Caps must be “blackened out”, if not plain. We will accept embossed bottles from commercially distributed breweries. Attach a bottle ID form to each bottle WITH A RUBBER BAND ONLY. Judging is per the BJCP 2008 categories and style guidelines.

Entries will be received beginning March 8, 2014 and the deadline for entries
will be March 28, 2014 at 5:00pm.

Entries will be judged by BJCP Certified judges when possible. Competition organizers will settle any conflicts. All decisions will be final. Capitol Brewers will have entries in this competition. Prize shipping will be the responsibility of the entry winner. All entries are the property of Capitol Brewers and no entries will be returned or refunds issued.
