We love Dirty Girls!

Utopian Tubes, Down and Dirty, Runaway Bride, H2OMG, & PMS (Pretty Muddy Stuff).  They’re not dirty movies but rather obstacles on the Dirty Girl Mud Run series.  Claiming to be the first and largest “women’s only” mud run series, Dirty Girl is hosting 26 events for 2014 in cities across the U.S., and with 324,ooo likes on facebook, dirty girls are becoming quite popular.

Dirty Girl’s take on 12 obstacles over a 5 kilometer course (that’s 3.1 miles) in the estrogen fueled events.

“Run, walk, climb, crawl—you will experience it all in this adventure race….But don’t worry, if you get to an obstacle that’s more than a challenge for you—hey, take one of the adventure races detours. Also expect safety throughout. Expect the fun obstacle course runs competition to go on rain or shine. Expect not to be timed on the adventure runs. Expect some crazy team uniforms. Expect to put your mud run training to the test. Expect to leave with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.”

The organizers believe in empowering women to lead active and healthy lives, and to be proactive with breast and ovarian health.  In an effort to help find a cure for breast cancer, Dirty Girl has teamed up with Bright Pink, as an official charity partner to help find a cure.
