El Pelon Taquerias Annual Chili Pepper Eating Competition
Fiery Fifteen
To qualify enter by signing up any Wednesday night in April at either of our locations in Boston by eating 15 Habenero chilies in 15 minutes, and pay an entry fee of $15 and get a limited edition Fiery Fifteen t-shirt. All those who qualify will meet head to head, chile for chile till their is only one man standing. The final will be the first Wednesday in May With over 10 years of chili Championships you could be the one to set the record.
The current record is 64 Habaneros, set by Dan Lynch in 2013.
The champion will receive a year of free burritos and the fear and respect of a city
Disclaimers will be required for all contestants and its not a bad idea if you had a doctors note too. This is not a Contest for the weak, squeamish or anyone with underlying medical conditions. It really crazy to even consider competing. On second thought unless you are a manic please just watch
