The Rochesterfest triathlon is one of those events that offers an experience for the newbie triathlete or for the seasoned veteran. The transition is the parking lot of the Foster Arends Park and therefore, the parking lot is not used for parking. The transition is fairly flat and pavement.
Foster Arends pond is very unique that it is an old quarry turned into a pond by the city. You will love the location and the grassy hillside around the sandy beach is excellent for spectators and athletes alike!
