“Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition- Academy” for String Quartets: 22 Sept to 2 Oct 2016. For young professionals/ high level students aspiring to a professional chamber music career. Free online application. 4 string quartets will be offered to participate. Participants will also study and perform chamber music together with instructors. Possible to prequalify for competition 2017 with cash prizes and concert engagements in Europe. Free accomodation and 3 meals a day. Possible to apply for travel grant. Academyleader: Hatto Beyerle. Instructors: Gabriel Montero, Henning Kraggerud, Pavel Haas Quartet, Trio con Brio Copenhagen. The Academy is a part of Trondheim Chamber Music Festival.
